The Apprenticeship Program 

The apprenticeship program trains and educates neurodiverse individuals. FuseChange offers education, training, and hands-on experience in full-stack development, working on projects that benefit local communities. Though based in Portland, Oregon, the program is open-source and can be adopted by other communities. Together, we build a unique workforce and create open-source solutions that serve our communities

Researching & analyzing

Enabling social change requires acknowledgement of the problem’s context: the market and its environment.

During this phase, we’ll help you uncover the market problems and any relevant data that will validate the large-scale social problem you want to address. Our team will look at market studies, user analyses, and other documents that can allow us to tap the opportunities for engagement.

Scoping requirements

From the research and analysis phase, we’ll come up with a prioritized scope of work for your website project. This is done by carefully defining all the elements of the project while making sure that they are aligned with your business needs and impact objectives.

We’ll gather everything we need to communicate your purpose and create the characteristics, functions and capabilities of your website.

Designing and ideating solutions

Pulling all our learnings from the initial phases, we’ll study what your audience and stakeholders need and find out which web features, functionalities and design can best help you meet their requirements.

Our team will come up with a set of designs that will be used for the majority of the project, setting the overall tone, look and feel with chosen themes, colors and design elements. This will ensure that the design represents the brand, the image and the user experience

At this stage, we come up with an outline of the site structure and a visual representation of the final output, giving you an almost-complete view of your website.
